Pamper Day

Undergoing treatment for breast cancer can have a significant impact on the way a person looks and feels. We believe that small things can make a big difference.

In honour of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Ella Baché College hosted its annual Pamper Day, bringing together 18 breast cancer patients from Sydney's Royal North Shore Hospital for a day of relaxation and pampering.

Guests enjoyed their morning or afternoon of facial treatments, manicures and massages. They were also treated to a lunch and left with some Ella Baché skincare gifts. The Pamper Day offers a full-body experience, to promote relaxation, rejuvenation and wellbeing for these women. It's an opportunity to take a day off from the rigours of treatment and to simply enjoy themselves.

This is the 10th year Ella Baché College has hosted the event. It is only made possible by the work and dedication of our trainers, including Jodi Keys-Jones and Iwona Lehman, and students of the College.

"The students and trainers were very humbled for the experience of treating the ladies for Pamper Day. All of the ladies were extremely grateful for their time of relaxation. I had one of the ladies say to me that it meant so much for her to have a facial and massage and felt well looked after – we had a tear and hug together after the treatment." – Jodi Keys-Jones, Ella Baché College Trainer.
