Kasey was always intrigued by the skin, and was able to develop her passion at Ella Baché College when she performed specialised treatments and familiarised herself with the products.

“It was not until I got to College and realised this is something I could be good at it, is when the passion really set in for me.”

Originally from Wollongong, Kasey travelled 2 hours by train to the Sydney Campus to attend her flexible study program at Ella Baché College.

“I woke up at 5:30am, got the train at 6:30am and then slept on the train! I arrived in Sydney, did my classes and then I would do the same on the way home.”

Before applying for the Ella Baché College, Kasey had to decide whether or not she would be best suited for the Melbourne or Sydney lifestyle, however, after copious research she made the decision to attend the college in Sydney.

“I just loved the values and the purpose behind the Ella Baché brand more than any other. I just had a feeling that I would get the best out of attending Ella Baché College and I really do feel I got the most out of it.”

After learning about the Ella Baché brand, the heritage, and the large David Jones and Salon network the decision was easy.

“I really wanted to be in the network. I was adamant that I wanted to be in the network.”

Growing up, Kasey was lucky enough to have minor skin concerns, however, was very intrigued by the impact some skincare products had on some skin types versus others.

“Before using Ella Baché, it would really interest me that I would use St. Ives twice a day, every day and I still had good skin. However, a friend used it and still had acne and I was like, what's going on here?”

As Kasey found her feet at the Ella Baché College, she had a vision of performing Dermal Laser treatments; It was not until she underwent practical courses, where she realised her true passion of working in Salon was born.

“I really enjoyed doing treatments on people, and I loved how grateful and relaxed they were after every treatment. That's when I was like, I want to be in salon. That was when it clicked for me.”

Kasey has furthered her beauty therapy training within Ella Baché recently undergoing her post graduate IPL certificate where she can now perform specialised, advanced, IPL Treatments.

Kasey continues to nurture her loyal customer base, with a vision to solidify her skin knowledge as a part of the Ella Baché head office team.

“I would like to move head office, I love the company, I just don't ever want to leave Ella Baché. I would love to get more into the nitty gritty of all things Beauty.”
