For over 50 years, Ella Baché has been producing the best skincare and beauty therapists in the business. And 2014 was no exception.
On the 26th of December, family and friends gathered at the Crystal Ballroom at Luna Park to celebrate the inspiring achievements of this year’s Graduating Class.
Almost 100 students successfully completed the Diploma of Beauty Therapy, including those that studied full-time on campus and those that studied via the Stellar online learning program. Of particular note was the presentation of the Small Business Award, a $10,000 grant donated by Ella Baché, that will go towards owning and operating their own Ella Baché franchise Salon when they are ready.
To be considered for the Small Business Award, students presented a working business plan for operating a commercial beauty salon. This year some innovative, creative and intelligent business plan ideas were presented, with Naomi Buckingham taking out the coveted award.
The prospects for Ella Baché College graduates are boundless. Not only do they have access to the growing network of Ella Baché salons, opportunities can also be found in day spas, on cruise ships, providing treatments at home or, as in the case of many Ella Baché College graduates, managing or owning their own salon. There are also prospects in make-up artistry, beauty training, treatment development – in fact, the list is endless.
